Our client based in Perth’s southern suburbs is currently seeking a driven temporary Manager of Assets

**Your new company**

Our client requires a Manager Assets for a temporary period, initially for 6 to 12 months with the possibility for extension. This position will have 1 direct report and multiple indirect reports. The position is looking for an immediate start within the next two weeks, preferably. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to work in a large and well-known state government organisation.

**Your new role**

As a Manager of Assets, your responsibilities will include:

- Manage the assets team and overlook the preparation of financial statements
- Provide leadership, financial advice, and support
- Implement and supervise the organisation's financial policies and procedures
- Maintain financial compliance within the team
- Provide financial information to support budgeting and reporting requirements
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results are completed within necessary timelines

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Experience in asset management or finance management
- Experience managing people
- Experience supervising assets and the financial reporting process for an organisation
- Knowledge and experience within current accounting procedures and policies
