We currently have an exciting opportunity in Sydney which plays a major part in the success of Hannover Re globally. We are a lead reinsurer in Australia and New Zealand, and we have the benefit of being flexible and nimble with the financial backing of one of the largest reinsurers in the world.

We are seeking an Admin Assistant to join our team within our Property & Casualty branch. The role will be a short term 8-week, part time position (2 days per week) reporting directly to our Senior Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**

**About the role**

As an Admin Assistant you are responsible for supporting the Senior Operations Manager in the data digitization project through administrative tasks, quality control of work performed by third parties and analysis of data relevant to the project.

**Your day may look a little like**:

- Inspecting paper files and removing files as directed
- Quality reviewing data labelling for already scanned documents
- Transferring handwritten archive registers into Excel
- Consistency checking of internal registers with Third Party data
- Merging, updating and drafting data sets in Excel.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**

**You will need to have**:

- Advanced level excel skills
- Relationship management skills
- Very good organisation and attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication both written and verbal
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
