Full Time Role - Brisbane CBD Location - Flexible Working Arrangements **About The Role | Strategic Procurement Leader** The Strategic Procurement Leader will take an active role in leading the Strategic Procurement Team and deliver training and coaching to enable sustainable business growth objectives and continuous improvement outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring the development and execution of leading and best-practice strategic procurement strategies and activities that challenge the established practices and behaviours within the organisation. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering these against the organisation’s strategic procurement framework, processes and tools through a wide range of procurement activities. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate, develop and maintain strong partnerships with relevant business units, functional areas and key stakeholders - Develop complex implementation and contract management plans to ensure there is a robust procurement framework - Identify risks, issues and dependencies relating to large-scale, high-risk, complex procurements and ensure that effective controls and risk mitigation strategies are in place. **About You** To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: - Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, logistics, or specialisation in advanced procurement management will be advantageous - Proven procurement experience in the heavy industry - Superb leadership and communication skills - Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities - Willingness to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships. **How to Apply** If you are interested in this opportunity, please click " **APPLY**".
