We are seeking a Duty Manger to assist with the overnight operations of our Essence Hotel & UniLodge Carlton hybrid property. This role is a unique mix of property management from a leasing perspective and hotel front office supervisory duties with a focus on reservations and administration.

A day in the life of a Duty Manager consists of:

- Manage the day-to-day administrative and customer service operations
- Ongoing management of the apartments including inspections and maintenance requests
- Work to achieve and maintain the budgeted occupancy figures
- Build and maintain relationships with each key stakeholder group (investors, university housing bodies, key learning institutions)
- Market the property in a proactive manner
- Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation
- Recruit, manage and develop a team of high performing staff

**To be great in this role you will**:

- Hold VIC Agent's Representative Certificate (desirable)
- COVID full vaccination or exemption as per VIC State & industry legislation
- Strong property management background from a leasing perspective
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and manage conflict
- Focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences
- National Police Check & Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
