**Who we are**
The department’s ICT Division has spent the last 12-months achieving significant milestones that have kicked-off a transformational journey focused on laying the foundation for a technologically advanced, secure, and independent ICT environment that is adaptable, innovative, and capable of supporting the diverse needs of our internal and external customers. Our people are passionate about collaboratively finding best-fit solutions, that continuously improve our digital service delivery, secure and stabilise our IT environment, and streamline the interactions that support the department’s delivery of government priorities.

The ICT Business and Governance Branch is responsible for key enabling functions that underpin our ICT strategic planning, investment, purchases, governance, communications and operational workforce, working broadly across the division and the department. Our ICT Business Solutions and Security Branch is responsible for the delivery of the ICT business solutions lifecycle from design to sustainment, as well as the department’s cyber security - adopting a security by design approach to solutions - and artificial intelligence capability. The ICT Operational Services and Infrastructure Branch is responsible for the delivery and support of ICT services across the department, portfolio agencies and to Ministers. Responsibilities include network security and support, the delivery, deployment and support of remote and field ICT and critical incident response.

The ICT Project Management Office (PMO) sets and oversees the project delivery standards that supports ICT project managers and facilitates consistent delivery and status reporting services increasing visibility to the ICT Executive Team and relevant Committees. Through informed reporting the PMO also provides valued information to assist senior executives in their decision making. The ICT Governance, Communications and Workforce Team help enable the division to manage its key governance arrangements and obligations; while ensuring the division has the operational workforce and capability it needs to deliver digital services across the portfolio. The team also ensure end user ICT capability, knowledge base, change management and communications out to over 5,000 ICT users.

**The Job**

**APS 6 - Program Support Lead (ICT Project Management Office)**:

- administrative management support for the delivery of PMO governance and reporting requirements.
- Undertake project reporting assurance and compliance activities.
- Deliver updates to project management templates, processes, guidance and materials
- Manage the project manager (PM) operational resources & project assignment - issuing project assignments to PMs, tracking their assignments start and end dates, ensuring capacity to meet current and future demand for project managers.
- On-board Project Managers into the PMO, methodology, practices and processes (as required).
- Identification, coordination and deliver support training to Project Managers.
- Assist in uplifting the project management maturity and practices across the division.
- Response management of requests via a shared mailbox.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and healthy work environment by taking personal accountability and identifying and reporting incidents, hazards and injuries in accordance with the department's policy and procedures.

**APS 6 - Program Support Lead (ICT Governance, Communications and Workforce)**:
