- **Educational Mentor**

**About the Role**:
Our Educational Mentors are crucial in helping participants enhance their learning skills, build confidence, and achieve their educational and personal development goals. As an Educational Mentor, you’ll provide guidance, structure, and encouragement to support participants’ growth and progress.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Assist individuals in developing essential learning and life skills tailored to their goals.
- Provide structured and compassionate guidance to help participants overcome educational challenges.
- Build trusting relationships with participants and their families to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate case notes to document progress and tailor future support.
- Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and reflective practices to enhance service quality and personal development.

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications or current enrolment in an education or allied health program (e.g., teaching, Speech Pathology).
- A commitment to high-quality, person-centred support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- NDIS Workers Check.
- Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Screening Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: On the road
