**About the role**

The East Arnhem Land Youth Model (EALYM) is an innovative and community led program, which empowers local communities to design and deliver initiatives and activities aimed at improving the wellbeing of young people in their communities.

In this role, you will be working in collaboration with the Community Services Division to support the implementation of the EALYM in communities in East Arnhem land.

**This role is based in the Darwin Support office with regular travel to various communities in East Arnhem land.**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and train Yolngu staff across four EALYM communities, including engaging in the recruitment process and the onboarding.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to Yolngu staff.
- Undertake regular travel to the EALYM communities to support and monitor the delivery of EALYM activities.
- Provide operational support for the organisation and implementation of monthly Leadership Group meetings in each community.
- Assist in the collection of data for the Monitoring and Evaluation framework of the EALYM.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in planning and organising project activities.
- Qualification in Community Services or similar.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of a diverse group of people.
- Current Ochre Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Manual Drivers Licence.
- Previous experience working with Indigenous people is highly desirable.
