**Your new company**
This Federal Government department is looking to recruit a Communications & Engagement Project Officer to join their team in a temporary 12-month capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise and demonstrate your communications skills both strategically and operationally whilst supporting the team achieve key objectives.

**Your new role**
As the Communications & Engagement Project officer you will work collaboratively to provide technical communications and engagement advice and solutions to support this Agency and its projects. You will be accountable for delivering both short and long terms tasks, assessment reviews and be able to give result driven feedback for future improvement. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- Creation of communication & engagement collateral for different target audiences through various channels and platforms
- Supporting management to drive organisation change to build trust and achieve objectives in complex environments
- Working both autonomously and collaboratively to drive behavioural change with targeted communication content and engagement activities
- Assisting management with risk assessment and management for projects whilst demonstrating empathy

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Experience working in change management
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment whilst being able to work autonomously
- Proven ability to create engaging and captivating content through various channels that meet department guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to undertake research, analysis and reporting of results providing areas for growth and improvement
- Experience delivering best practice communication & engagement strategies with measurable impact

You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this role.
