We represent one of Australia's top law firms.

As an upshot of growth they have an opportunity for an intermediate level lawyer to join their highly-respected Tax team.

**Tax**

The firm has one of the largest tax groups in Australia.

The Tax team work across a number of industries and their clients include accountants, lawyers and financial partners, as well as top Australian companies, private groups and high wealth individuals. Additionally, the team deals with tax controversy matters before both State and Federal Tribunals and Courts.

**Position Description**

This is an opportunity for a lawyer to work closely with three partners on a range of tax transactions and advice.

You can expect to gain exposure to direct tax, stamp duty, GST, capital gains tax, foreign investment regulations, and business structuring acting for multinational corporations with Australian resource interests, a number of ASX-listed companies and widely held investment funds.

Additionally, you will act for a number of growing Australian companies that are expanding offshore.

In addition to providing transaction structuring advice and tax opinions, you will have the opportunity to implement a number of innovative employee incentive arrangements for both listed and private groups.

**Requirements**:
You will have
**2 to 4 years' **experience in tax matters gained from a law firm or chartered accountancy firm.

In addition, you will have:

- excellent drafting skills
- a keen interest in gaining exposure to broader commercial transactions.
