About the Role

An opportunity exists to join a high-performing, Top-Tier Taxation team operating as part of a broader Corporate & Commercial practice, with strong leadership in Brisbane. Working closely with senior Partners on strategic tax matters, you'll gain exposure to high-level advisory work across income tax, GST, land tax, payroll tax and stamp duty, in addition to structuring and trust advisory.

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Advise on complex taxation matters and strategic structuring
  • Draft and review trust deeds, wills, and commercial instruments
  • Provide direct advice to major commercial and government clients
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a growing team culture
  • Lead multi-disciplinary matters alongside other corporate specialists

What You Bring

  • 5+ years' PAE, ideally with a focus in income tax and/or state taxes
  • A commercial mindset with strong technical skills
  • Experience or interest in structuring, trust law, or tax litigation
  • Broader exposure to M&A, property, or commercial law (advantageous)
  • A collaborative, confident approach with a passion for client service
