**Position description**

The Brisbane office is seeking a talented **associate** to join the M&A team.

The team is adept at structuring transactions to address clients' key business concerns, providing seamless delivery across diverse practices. They cater to ASX-listed companies, providing expertise in corporate governance, continuous disclosure, directors' duties, and ASX listing rule compliance. The team's extensive experience extends to advising on a range of transactions, including M&A (public & private), distressed situations, restructurings, joint ventures, partnerships, and corporate advisory matters.

The team is led by three renowned partners who share their expert knowledge among the team in order to achieve the best results for clients.

**Requirements**:
In addition, you will have:

- superior communication skills (both written and verbal);
- excellent drafting ability and analytical skills;
- the ability to be team-focused and work independently;
- a developing commercial awareness; and
- outstanding academic background.
