Cooper Grace Ward is excited to be extending an opportunity fora Family Lawyer (2 years PAE) to join our leading family law team.You will have the chance to work with and learn from a dedicatedteam of family lawyers who provide expert practical advice on allfamily law issues. Your contribution will be recognised andrewarded with career progression encouraged and supported under thementorship of industry-recognised senior leadership.
The variety of work you will undertake will include (withsupervision and training):
- Advising clients in relation to property settlement,parenting, child support, international relocation and allaspects of their family law matters
- Representing clients in mediations and at certain courtevents
- Preparing and advising on settlement documents, includingbinding financial agreements
- Assisting clients to apply for or defend protectionorders
Requirements:
- 2 years PAE with previous experience in family law
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communicationskills
- Empathetic, confident and personable with a genuineinterest in pursuing a career in family law
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistentlyproduce accurate, high-quality work
- Dedication to excellence and the delivery of outstandingclient service
- Ability to confidently and professionally communicate withteam members and clients and ability to handlesensitive/confidential information with appropriate care
- Desire to strengthen and build client relationships tocontinually contribute to the growth and success of thefirm
- Expand your skills with a Family law team that consistentlyachieves market recognition including rankings in Doyle’sGuide and Best Lawyers Australia
