**Field Presales Principal,ANZ ( Base in Melbourne or Sydney )**:
RELEX is a fast-growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability, and cut waste. To achieve this, we use our in-house built terabyte scale in-memory database, which stores tens of billions of rows of data.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Working closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers in challenging and fast-paced environment to close new deals and maximise business value with both new and existing RELEX customers
- Providing solution & supply chain industry guidance to prospective and existing RELEX customers.
- Joining a growing global team as we seek to continue our rapid success story in the APAC region
- Joining and leading discussions with retailers and wholesalers.

**You will support sales opportunities by**:

- Consulting on initial best practice supply chain process & solution design,
- Ensuring prospects understand the business value of working with RELEX, & building confidence in the team’s ability to deliver on that business value,
- Creating a vision of the future partnership potential between RELEX and the customer through your own example.

**You will support existing customer operations by**:

- Supporting newly signed customers through their transition into project phase
- Providing continuity in presales solution guidance to the RELEX operations team

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Becoming a trusted advisor to our customers through open, honest and transparent engagement
- Providing expertise on the RELEX solution current & future capability
- Providing retail process consultancy, challenging the customer’s thinking, and giving insight into industry best practise
- Preparing and delivering solution presentations and demonstrations
- Conducting discovery workshops to understand the customer’s current situation & future aims
- Describing our implementation methodology and building confidence in our ability to deliver
- Calculating and presenting business cases using customer data
- Highlighting how we differ from our competition
- Understanding and articulating our case studies, showing how we provided value to other customers.
- Managing, co-ordinating and ensuring quality of formal responses to RFIs, RFPs, etc.
- Managing, co-ordinating and ensuring quality of PoCs supported by an expert central support team
- Communicating the excitement we have to make a genuine difference for our customers

- At least 3-5 years’ experience with a retailer or consultancy/software provider focused on the retail, wholesale, or supply chain industry
- Understanding of key solution areas including Inventory Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment.
- Excellent understanding the retail business and retail processes, both now and how they might change in the future gained through working directly for a retailer or a consultancy/software provider focussed on the retail industry
- Willingness to travel within Australia and internationally to meet our prospects on-site or join regional & global events.

**What we’ll consider as an advantage**:

- Previous experience of RELEX either as an implementation consultant or as a user.
- Knowledge of other retail processes such as Space Planning, Assortment Planning or Price & Promotion Optimisation.
