As a Systems Analyst within the ‘Buy and Own a Home’ value stream, your team’s mission is to focus on solutions that transform the way we start and grow relationships with our customers. You’ll be part of a squad working closely with multiple teams that are defining ANZ’s new business proposition. Your core objective will be to identify the business services required to enable the future state digital-first customer journey.

You’ll be exposed to the exciting new technologies provided by the Google Cloud Platform to build out business capabilities from the ground up. Additionally, you’ll interface with many new online solutions to achieve the desired business outcomes.

What Will Your Day Look Like

Partnering with the squad’s Product Owner to validate requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment to value

Transforming requirements into system design - including analysis of existing APIs and defining new APIs, defining the sequence of services, performing field level analysis, defining intra-system mapping and transformation rules.

Building expertise and owning the requirements for components of Origination journey.

Partnering with the Product Owner, Engineers and other people in your Squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories

Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad

Implementing a ‘test & learn’ culture within the squad, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation

Creating estimates and continuously reviewing demand within the individual Squad’s backlog

Optimising workflow management to ensure traceability back to strategic alignment and critical controls

Verifying and validating what’s in production (especially after changes)

What Will Be In Your Toolkit?

Previous experience in one or more types of Technical Analyst roles will be highly regarded, e.g. System Analyst, Technology Business Analyst, etc

Proven ability to turn customer journeys into technical requirements and work with architects and engineers to convert those requirements into workable technology outcomes

Familiarity with one or more of the following (we understand you may not have all):
complex integrations

data modelling,

sequence diagrams,

event driven architectures,

Understanding of business services and endpoints

Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

A curious mind with a desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies, bringing innovative ideas into the Squad

Exposure to lending or related financial services domains will be highly regarded.
