Manager Strategy & Analytics - Unsecured Credit

**Do work that matters**:
Bankwest Credit Strategy, Models and Insights Crew is responsible for managing credit risk for all retail lending products. The crew is made up of several teams covering systems, reporting, modelling, valuations and credit strategy.

In the Unsecured Credit Strategy team, you will work closely with products, finance, compliance and technology to develop data analytic solutions that align with business goals. You'll use your ability to think strategically and provide risk management solutions for the business.

You'll prepare detailed analysis and business papers on various aspects of Consumer Finance. You will support the Credit Card and Personal Loan products key objectives and deliver changes to support the overarching business strategy.

**Your impact & contribution**:
This role is responsible for the design, development, monitoring and implementation of end-to-end credit strategies across all aspects of the Credit Card and Personal Loan life cycle. The role will support management in the identification, development and implementation of tools that can be used to grow our business within risk appetite. This will include providing analytics to support these changes and following the change management process to implement system changes.

Your responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed credit risk business papers and present findings to senior stakeholders and credit committees.
- Regularly review Key Risk Indicators and monitoring dashboards to proactively identify emerging risks and recommending proactive measures to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate closely with Consumer Finance product teams to structure appropriate credit solutions.
- Be cognisant of industry trends, regulatory changes and market developments to help support and enhance risk management strategies.

**We're interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Strong analytical mindset who can transform data into business insights and solutions
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Excel and Tableau
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Banking industry experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities and upcoming due dates
