**Role Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced Manager Strategy and Social Value to join our People, Strategy and Social Value business unit based at Perth. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, Policy and Social Value, this role will be responsible for developing Synergy’s strategic direction and social value ambition to effect long term, transformative business outcomes. Core functions of the role include managing end to end strategic planning process for Synergy, developing strategic plans, preparation of key strategic workshops and forums, as well as the development and implementation of Synergy’s social value framework. Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is critical to the success of the role and delivery of key outputs.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Lead a team of professionals to develop and implement Synergy’s corporate strategy and social value framework
- Identifying the key challenges affecting the organisation, develop and conceptualise strategies to address these challenges and advise on initiatives to improve overall business performance
- Develop a governance process to implement the social value framework
- Lead key workshops with Board, Executive Leadership Team, and other senior leaders in developing, implementing and evolving Synergy’s corporate strategy
- Lead components of the Synergy growth strategy, identifying, assessing, and driving alignment across the business to new growth opportunities

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary qualifications are preferred; however equivalent experience in the field will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate workshops with senior leaders and Board members
- Strategic thinking and ability to set a clear vision
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills to manage competing priorities and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is crucial to the success of this role
