About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and commercially astute leader to join our Products team as the Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Performance. Reporting to the General Manager Products, this role is pivotal in shaping HBF's product roadmap, driving portfolio performance, and ensuring our offerings align with our pricing philosophy and strategic objectives. You'll lead a high-performing team and collaborate across the business to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that support sustainable growth and member value.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the development and execution of HBF's product strategy and roadmap to support long-term business goals.
• Oversee product performance reporting and analytics, identifying trends and opportunities to optimise portfolio outcomes.
• Manage product pricing strategy in collaboration with actuarial teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.
• Drive proposition innovation and integrated network design to enhance member value and competitiveness.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Product & Pricing Committee and executive leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of product, pricing, and analytics professionals to deliver high-impact outcomes.

About You

You're a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for delivering high-performing, member-focused products. With a background in financial services or insurance, you bring deep expertise in product strategy, pricing, and performance management. You're also a collaborative leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys influencing change at the executive level.

Ideally, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Business, Commerce, or Actuarial Science.
• Extensive experience in product management or a similar role within a highly regulated industry, ideally financial services or insurance.
• Proven experience in developing and executing product strategies and pricing frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build compelling business cases for executive and board-level endorsement.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing high-performing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
