**The Opportunity at MCRI**:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Officer, preferably with a Genetic Counselling background, with expertise in workflow design, experience running large projects, and a knowledge of the genomics diagnostic field. The role will be central to the operation of the recently funded Medical Research Future Fund Genomics Health Futures Mission, RDMassSpec, which will integrate proteomic and metabolomic (including lipidomic) analyses using mass spectrometry (MS) approaches with multi-omics bioinformatic strategies, as a scalable disease-agnostic functional genomics platform to increase the diagnostic rate in individuals with rare monogenic disorders. We encourage you to apply, even if you don’t 100% match the exact criteria for this role as the position will have additional support from our internal project manager network.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Maintaining ethics approvals, multi-institute agreements and data governance requirements pertaining to the activities of the RDMassSpec project
Coordinating and supporting of the committees, working groups and other meetings
Liaising with cohorts associated with the RDMassSpec project for consenting of patients, coordination of data collection, sample collection and distribution to research sites, and associated database entry and record keeping
Independently preparing for and supporting the facilitation of internal and external meetings/workshops with project teams to communicate project requirements, champion cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the completion of projects in alignment with set goals

**About You**:
