**Your next career opportunity**
As a Project Officer - Vaping Prevention, you'll lead a groundbreaking initiative to address vaping among university students. You'll have the opportunity to coordinate and implement a comprehensive prevention plan, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver workshops, promote anti-vaping campaigns, and organize student health promotion events. Your role will be crucial in shaping healthier campus environments and contributing to impactful research on vaping prevention strategies.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Coordinate Vaping Prevention Initiatives: Plan, implement, and evaluate activities outlined in a VicHealth grant workplan, including workshops and the 'Uncloud' anti-vaping media campaign.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Develop and maintain relationships with key university and external partners, ensuring effective collaboration and student involvement.
- Manage Project Deliverables: Ensure timely execution of grant-funded activities within specified timeframes and budget, preparing regular reports on progress and outcomes.
- Conduct Research and data collection : Implement data collection methods to assess the impact of vaping prevention activities and contribute to reports showcasing grant achievements.

You are a dedicated health promotion professional with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, possessing strong project coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for improving student health outcomes.
**You may also**:
- Have a bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Education (or studying, or a related field.
- Possess experience in project coordination, implementation, and monitoring evaluation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of health promotion principles, particularly in substance use prevention.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Show proficiency in data collection, report writing, and campaign planning.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills.

The Project Officer role sits within the Health Promotion Program (HPP) Team within the Wellbeing Services portfolio.
