australia perth contract negotiableAs a Drafting Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our drawing inventory and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Drawing Inventory Maintenance**: Overseeing and maintaining the drawing inventory to ensure organization and accessibility.
- **Compliance with Standards**: Ensuring that drawings are kept in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines, working closely with document controllers.
- **Collaboration**: Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including surveyors, technical staff, and professionals, to execute the duties of this position effectively.
- **Electronic Drawing Practices**: Keeping up-to-date with electronic drawing practices and standards, ensuring their currency within the organization.
- **Technical Specifications**: Providing valuable input into the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents related to the functions of this position.
- **Computer-Aided Drafting (AutoCAD)**: Proficiency and experience in using Computer Aided Drafting technology, especially AutoCAD.
- **Qualification**: Preferably holds a Certificate IV in Engineering or Architectural Drafting.
- **Autodesk Revit**: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is highly desirable.
- **Microsoft Office**: General Microsoft Office skills are a must.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external parties.
- **Engineering Office**: Previous exposure to working in an engineering office is a plus.
