Seeking an experienced Drafting Officer to join a state government team located in central Perth CBD

**Your new company**

A State Government department based in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Drafting Officer to join the department as soon as possible. You will be required to work full-time hours, and will be engaged on an initial 6-month temporary basis, with a likely extension offered should all go well.

**Your new role**

As the Drafting Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- Updating and maintaining the drawing inventory in accordance with department standards
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders around the execution of the duties required in your roles
- Maintain a standard of electronic drawing practices and standards that are followed by others
- Provide input and advice into preparing technical specifications and documents related to the project you are assisting with

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate previous experience as a Draftsperson / Architect, in addition to:

- A relevant tertiary qualification within Drafting, Architecture or Engineering
- Strong digital literacy skills with an advanced understanding of AutoCAD / Computer Aided Drafting systems
- Experience using Autodesk Revit would be beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous exposure working in an engineering team would be beneficial
