As an Advisor (Body Corporate and Agent Management) you will take a role managing the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) interest in Body Corporates and Agent Managed properties including overseeing negotiation of tenancy agreements, financial management of the portfolio, representing TMR at meetings and forums, preparing high level correspondence and documentation on a broad range of property management issues involving the coordination of land use asset management.
**Some of your responsibilities will include**: - Provide technical expertise and advice in the daily operations of the department's body corporates and residential portfolio properties, ensuring an effective return on investment
- Liaise with state-wide stakeholders in managing residential and Body Corporates to ensure effective management of these properties. Provide advice to the Manager (Property Management) and the Senior Advisor (Agent Management) in relation to relevant legislation that impacts property management, including administrative property management matters, practices, and processes. Prepare high level correspondence and documentation on a broad range of property management issues including drafting ministerial responses and as directed represent the department in relation to matters before the Queensland Civil Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) and other courts as appropriate. Liaise with the TMR Regions in relation to the processes and legal compliance of properties, vacating of tenants, rental agreements, and other property management issues
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: - Ability to liaise with the TMR Regions in relation to the processes and legal compliance of properties, vacating of tenants, rental agreements, and other property management issues to ensure that the Regions can obtain clear right of way when required for infrastructure works. Contribute to the operations of over 500 agent managed properties and 37 Body Corporates. Ability to provide advice on property matters as and when required to both internal and external stakeholders. - ordination of the infrastructure property management function. Provide advice in relation to property management, asset performance, utilisation and strategies, property research, and market analysis. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders internal and external to TMR.
