About the role:
In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting and executing groundbreaking cloud infrastructure strategies. Your mission will be to amplify developer productivity, enhance our security framework, and ensure the utmost reliability of our technology platform.

You will work hand-in-hand with People, Growth, and other key teams to deploy next-generation technological solutions that revolutionize communication, collaboration, and productivity in our modern workspace.

What you'll do:
- Governance: Manage financial and legal aspects of the role, including budget oversight and third-party contracts.- Team Leadership: Lead, empower, and motivate your direct and indirect reports to achieve Tyro’s strategic technology goals.
- Cloud Optimization: Drive cloud adoption through simplification, unification, and modernization of systems and processes.
- Platform Reliability: Ensure the reliability and durability of Tyro’s technology platform by maintaining compute, storage, and network infrastructure in line with SLAs, RTOs, and RPOs.
- Security and Updates: Oversee the security and reliability of Tyro’s technology platform through timely updates and patching.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Heads of Technology peers to align Platform and Infrastructure with their teams' needs.
- Leadership Team: Contribute as a member of the Tyro Technology Leadership team.
- Knowledge of modern workplace technology best practices, including 2FA, SSO, and identity services automation.

What we're looking for:
- Proven ability to lead high-performing technology delivery teams.-
- Experience with cloud-native environments, particularly AWS.-
- Expertise in balancing architectural, operational, delivery, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.-
- Proficiency in cloud-native technology platforms and Continuous Delivery practices and tooling (e.g., BuildKite, GitHub).-
