**The Opportunity**

The Head of Product is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the companies fixed line voice and data network and products. Using an active and practical leadership approach, the Head of Technology will develop programs leveraging the company’s resources to attain the company’s strategic goals.

**What you will be doing**:

- Manage the lifecycle of Macquarie Telecom’s products, operations support systems and network technology for the mid-tier corporate market in Australia
- Manage the product team and strategy for developing new products, product lifecycle management, managing the operation efficiency of the products
- Manage a team of Project Managers that deliver the transformation program operating on the components of people, systems and processes for the project
- Research trends and technology to develop strategic long-term plans to ensure the network management systems can deliver service assurance standards that ensure customer satisfaction measured by NPS
- Manage the cost structure and positioning of the Telco product portfolio
- Improve and standardise network design and architecture, ensuring consistency, simplicity and maintainability

**Ideal skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar product management role in Telecommunications in a leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of VoIP and UC as a Service, Hosted Telephony, SIP Trunking products
- Extensive knowledge and passion for technology and telecommunications products such as SDWAN, SASE, PSTN voice, SDN and NBN
- Strong understanding of MPLS IPVPN, IP Networking and Broadband Access technologies
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant technical field (i.e. IT or Telecommunications)
