The Art Gallery of New South Wales (the Art Gallery) is the NSW state art museum comprising two distinct buildings and an art garden in the Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Central Business District on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We attract around 2 million visitors annually and offer a wide range of services, programs, exhibitions and free public access to our collections and public spaces.

We are currently seeking an outstanding, diverse, collaborative, supportive leader of technology to work alongside our existing senior leadership and executive leadership teams to build on our rich history to create an even more inspiring Art Gallery for the future.

**About the Role**

The Head of ICT ensures alignment of our operational frameworks, standards and processes based on industry leading practices and achieves optimal outcomes within the Art Gallery’s Strategic Plan objectives and operational business requirements.

Lead and drive the day-to-day functional and operational delivery of Information & Communications Technology and Audio Visual (ICT&AV) services and programs. The role is responsible for service assurance, performance, availability, support, maintenance, and operational risk management for technologies that enable the Art Gallery to meet its objectives.

**What technical / soft skills you require**

1. Degree in ICT or related discipline, coupled with proven management level experience delivering a diverse range of web and digital service technologies including ERP solutions to a medium to large sized organisation

2. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing the delivery of an ICT strategy that transforms and organisations use of and value from technology through the delivery of contemporary ICT solutions that engage and meet the needs of business users and clients across the organisation.

3. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing cyber and information security policy, procedures, risk management and compliance.

4. Significant experience in a similar senior role managing the ITC services of a complex, multi-use, multi-site organisation.

5. Highly developed project management and communication skills.
