**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting, newly created opportunity for an experienced accounts receivable officer to join Icon Group and support our Research operations. Reporting to the Research Finance Manager, this role primarily provides the delivery of all functions relating to billing for clinical trials revenue and collections of payments, achieved by improving systems and procedures and ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction and timely and accurate information.

The role operates on a part-time basis working 3 to 4 days per week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day to day operations in relation to Billing and Accounts Receivable activities including:

- Invoicing of clinical trials activity in line with trial contracts
- Customer account maintenance including regular review of terms
- Processing of customer payments and provision of monthly statements
- Customer service - liaison with sponsors in respect of queries & credit notes
- Debt collection
- End of month reporting
- Filing and archiving
- Ensure debtors are tightly managed and are within set Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Recommend improvements of processes and responsibilities with a focus on optimal efficiency and accuracy
- Safeguard the privacy of key stakeholders and the confidentiality of their records
- Comply with all Icon Research divisional policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure improvements in service delivery and customer needs are identified and implemented

**Skills & Experience**
- Accounts Receivable experience ideal but not required
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and forward plan to ensure work and information is complete and commitments are fulfilled
- High level interpersonal skills to develop relationships with team members and customers and deal with issues of a sensitive nature
