**The Organisation**
We are supporting a national leader in the manufacturing space that has a track record of providing top-quality products and services in their industry. They are currently on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a initial, 8 week contract to assist the finance team.

**Responsibilities**: As a Temporary Accounts Receivable Officer, your primary focus will be on managing debtor communication and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with our valued clients while efficiently resolving any payment-related queries. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Proactively contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments and outstanding invoices.
- Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
- Recording and updating customer information, payment details, and communication in the accounting system.
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Preparing and sending reminder notices, statements, and invoices to customers.
- Assisting with general accounts receivable duties as required.

**Requirements**: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance-related role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a dedicated team.
