A large non-profit services organisation in the heart of Brisbane CBD has an opportunity for a full-function Accounts Receivable Officer. You will be working for an organisation where your work will have a direct and positive impact on members of the community. You will be reporting to a manager who is highly respected in the organisation with multiple people in the team singing her praises
**The Position**:
This is a varied account receivable role that will require someone who is proactive, a good problem solver and who is results focused. As this role will be heavily exposed to the NDIS funding, it is not critical you have extensive accounts receivable experience as long as you have good Excel skills
You will be responsible for collections, allocating and receipting payments, account reconciliations, banking, and ad hoc project work to support the accounts team. You will be heavily exposed to NDIS funding.
This accounts receivable role will not require you to take a hard or aggressive approach to collections as you will be working to support and assist your customers and provide some excellent customer service support.
**Your Profile**:
To truly thrive in this busy role, you will need to demonstrate a strong customer service approach. If you are passionate about accounts receivable but have limited experience, the Finance Manager is happy to train to bridge the gap, but you will need to demonstrate a strong customer service focus, along with good Excel skills. Good Excel skills will be critical as you will be working with large data sets.
You will be working in a busy environment within a large, complex organisation. Experience on a large ERP system will be highly regarded.
