Worker to provide community access with NDIS participant.

Direct Care Australia is seeking friendly support workers to make a real difference in people's living across the Queensland.

**About the Company**

Direct Care Australia is an Aged Care and Disability Support provider. We support NDIS participants, Aged Care participants and private customers each week in their personal and household needs.

We are passionate about enhancing the lives of the people in the community and provide quality person centred care to enable them to live independent fulfilled lives.

**About the Role**

The key purpose of this position is to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of service-users.

You will be supported by our knowledgeable rostering coordinator and support coordinators with access to an after hours number.

The duties may involve personal care, respite, home assistance, and routine health maintenance procedures.

The aim is to support people to remain independent and to maintain social contact, household integrity and optimal physical functionality. Personal Support Workers will be providing highly individualized person-centered support clearly outlined in the customer Support Plan and associated documents.

All Direct Care Australia staff have free access to the Employee Assistance Program 24/7.

- Current Driver's License and reliable transport with car insurance
- National Police Check
- NDIS Workers Screener Card - (can help obtain)
- Blue Card - (can help obtain)
- Domestic assistance experience
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently and with strong initiative
- Good communication

**Salary**: $35.00 - $42.00 p/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
