**ABOUT US**

Connecting Care Support Services is a Disability Support Provider servicing NDIS participants in the South East Queensland Region including Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, North Brisbane, Central Brisbane, South Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and surrounding areas.

We offer In Home Support, Community Access, Group Activities, Respite and Centre Based Activities.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Disability Support Workers help with NDIS participants independence and quality of life. Support Workers may be required to work in the clients’ homes and provide both physical assistance and emotional support. Support may also be provided in clinics, hospitals and out within the community.

Assisting people with important daily activities, booking appointments, budgeting, goal setting.

Performing Domestic Assistance such as food preparation, cooking, Housework/ Cleaning.

Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, transport to appointments, support at the gym.

Ensuring a varied program of social activities and access to social services.

Providing emotional support, professional friendship and guidance on decision making.

Facilitating daily personal hygiene, showering and dressing tasks (depending on the client needs).

**ABOUT YOU**

We are looking for staff who are naturally positive, caring and have great communication skills.

Able to travel up to 30 minutes

To be considered for this role, you will need the following, or be willing and able to obtain;
Own reliable vehicle and Drivers Licence

Full Comprehensive Car Insurance (willing to obtain)

Certificate III in Individual Support/ or similar (Willing to obtain while working)

Current First Aid & CPR (willing to obtain)

COVID 19 Infection Control Certificate (willing to obtain)

NDIS Worker Orientation Module/Induction (willing to obtain)

Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Browns Plains, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
