Disability Support Angels provides community Access, Assistance with Daily Living & Self-Care, Community Nursing, Support Coordination, Specialist Coordination, SIL Housing, SDA & Respite, Cleaning, Yard Maintenance.

- Our participant _prefers a _**Male Support Worker**_

**Main Tasks**
- Supporting clients in the range of daily living including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, etc.
- Accompanying participants on planned and chosen outings within the community and recreational activities.
- Resourcing and/or creating meaningful, exciting activities.
- Medication including administering, recording and ordering.
- Maintain progress notes, incident reports, daily records and all the necessary documents.
- Domestic tasks assistance.
- Handling complex or challenging situations or behaviours calmly and rationally.

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
- **We can offer an IMMEDIATE START if you possess the following -**_
- Criminal History Check (must be less than 6 months old)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance and unrestricted Australian Driver’s License
- Have flexibility of hours from Monday to Sunday
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $29.89 per hour

- Browns Plains QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
