**The Role**:
As an NDIS support worker, you will play a vital role in the life of our young client. You will be responsible for providing personalised care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. This is a weekend position with shifts on both Saturday and Sunday, totaling 5 to 6 hours per shift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with our 7-year-old client, promoting social interaction and a sense of fun.
- Provide assistance with personal care, such as bathing, feeding, and medication administration if required.
- Accompany the client on outings, creating memorable experiences and ensuring their safety.
- Collaborate with the client's family, healthcare professionals, and our team to develop and implement a tailored support plan.

**Requirements**:

- Nursing background or currently studying nursing would be ideal but not essential.
- Genuine passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a strong rapport with the client and their family.
- Ability to work autonomously while following established protocols and care plans.
- A valid driver's license for transportation during outings.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- PEG feeding experience (bonus, but not essential).

**Salary**: $43.00 - $56.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends only

- Meridan Plains, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
