Disability Support Angels (DSA) is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our participants. We offer a variety of services, including community access, assistance with daily living & self-care, community nursing, support coordination, specialist coordination, SIL housing, SDA, respite, cleaning, and yard maintenance. Our commitment to care is unwavering, and we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our participants and their families.At DSA, we understand that we are not just supporting names or dollar values; we are supporting Mums, Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Uncles, and Aunts. Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, shopping, and laundry.
- Accompanying participants on planned outings and recreational activities.
- Resourcing and creating meaningful, engaging activities.
- Administering, recording, and ordering medications.
- Maintaining progress notes, incident reports, daily records, and other necessary documentation.
- Assisting with domestic tasks.
- Handling complex or challenging situations calmly and rationally.

Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for candidates who can meet the following criteria for an IMMEDIATE START:
- Criminal History Check (must be less than 6 months old)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance and unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
- Industry-related Certificate
- Availability: Regular shifts, including weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
