**Position**: NDIS Support Worker for Weekend's and potential overnights and weekdays for the right person
**Location**: Currimundi
**Hours**: Weekend shifts (5 to 6 hours per shift) with potential for overnight shifts and weekday shifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality support and care for our 7-year-old client with complex medical issues, who uses a wheelchair and can scoot on the ground when out of his chair.
- Engage the child in play, recreational activities, and outings to ensure a stimulating and enjoyable experience.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes the child's independence, well-being, and development.

**Requirements**:

- Current nursing qualification and experience is not essential but highly appreciated, or expertise in handling medical needs.
- NDIS work screening or willing to get one.
- Currently police check
- Valid driver's license and willingness to accompany the child on outings and recreational activities.
- Genuine passion for working with children and providing personalised care to meet their unique requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with the child, their family, and the wider care team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude to create a nurturing and fun atmosphere for the child.

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
