Global manufacturing company hiring an experienced EHS Manager to lead EHS across 2 sites and manage a team.
**Your new company**
We are recruiting for a Global manufacturing company who promote a strong safety culture and company values. They are passionate about their commitment to Health and Safety and driving this successfully throughout the organisation. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced EHS Manager to take lead and work across two sites.
**Your new role**
In this role you will manage a small team in a continuous manufacturing facility that runs 24/7. Your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Development and implementation of EHS strategic and general plans and processes throughout the operations
- Maintain OHSAS18001/ASNZS4801 and ISO14001 certifications for the site’s
- Provide EHS direction, assistance and support to assist site EHS improvements
- Continue to assist in advocating and owing a culture of zero harm
- Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure EHS process and plans are being implemented correctly
- Management of EHS projects
- Day to day management, development and mentorship of a team of safety professionals
**What you'll need to succeed**
Your key success in this role will be attributed to:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications within Health, Safety & Environment
- Previous industry experience in fast-paced manufacturing operations is desirable
- A strong working knowledge of local regulatory compliance requirements across EHS
- Be skilled and knowledgeable in hazard and exposure identification, auditing and inspections, and conducting Environmental, Health and Safety training
- Staff development and management experience
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills and the ability to liaise at all levels within the business
