Your Role:

Based at RAAF Base Amberley, the EHS Business Partner plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Northrop Grumman Australia's Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Environment & Sustainability (SHWES) Strategy. Reporting to the EHS Lead, you'll provide hands-on guidance, compliance support, and drive a positive safety culture across all site operations.

  • Support local managers to ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and risk assessment processes.

  • Assist with the implementation and improvement of the Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

  • Prepare reports, data, and insights to support safety and sustainability initiatives.

  • Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a professional, proactive approach to EHS leadership.

  • Contribute to HSE projects and engage with committees to deliver annual inspection and improvement programs.

About You:

You're a motivated safety professional who thrives in dynamic, high-risk environments. You bring strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification).
  • Sound knowledge of WHS principles within high-risk or technical industries.
  • Strong communication, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
