Backed by market-leading technology, driving enhanced digital experiences for advisers and investors, Our Investments Operations division is seeking an Analyst to join the team at Praemium with a focus on our Reconciliations function.

The role will offer you the opportunity to combine all of your skills from Market Operations and Reconciliations as well as your Analytical abilities with your passion for detail and accuracy. You can expect exposure to a vast suite of products, securities, processes and counterparties as we continue to expand our offering to accommodate all of our clients needs. We currently operate across two sponsoring brokers, 4 Custodians, and over 90 investment managers.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Operating across multiple product processes with exposure to various operational structures dealing with different asset types - Fixed Income, Domestic/International Equities, Term Deposits and other cash products, Managed Funds, and Derivatives
- Stock and Cash reconciliations of Omnibus/Scheme accounts and the various underlying client sub accounts
- Processing of Dividends, Distributions, Interest, and Corporate Actions
- Processing of fees using our billing technology
- Contribute to the build of our technology to help streamline processes
- Review of daily portfolio trading operations and key processes with high value market transactions
- Liaising with 3 Custodian banks and multiple counterparties to resolve trade and cash issues
- Reviewing the workflow tickets daily and resolving them in a timely manner
- Contribute towards business improvement initiatives particularly process and system enhancements
- Be responsible for identifying and escalating potential business risks and ensure all exceptions are accurately recorded, investigated, monitored and escalated to ensure timely resolution as necessar

**Experience, qualifications, and attributes sought after**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Reconciliations
- Experience in funds management, platforms or Custody environments, with an understanding of Custody and Financial Market Operations is favourable
- Knowledge of IPS (IRESS) and Praemium systems would be favourable
- Tech savvy with strong MS Office product skills, especially in Excel
- Analytical approach and the ability to investigate ambiguous issues
- Continuous improvement capability and drive
- A meticulous attention to detail and ability to edit their own work to a high standard
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
- A desire to learn many new skills and develop a broad knowledge base
