About the Role
- Permanent Analyst opportunity to support our Customer Markets Reconciliation team

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Team as a Reconciliation and Reporting Analyst. The team ensures the accuracy of invoices and reduces the risk of overpayments and billing errors in accordance with the AGL risk strategy, relevant B2B procedures, jurisdictional time frames, and regulatory and contractual requirements. Reporting to the Network & Metering Team Lead, you will oversee, monitor and execute network and energy reconciliations and initiatives.

What you’ll be doing (Main key responsibilities)
- Support the larger Network and Metering Reconciliation team and lead to validate and reconcile network and metering charges invoices
- Responsibility for quality control functionality over payment instructions within delegated authority
- Assist wider team with effective reconciliation between energy, network, and billing to ensure that AGL accurately passes through all applicable charges to customers.
- Provide support and work closely with Revenue Assurance and Reconciliation team and wider AGL business through the investigation of systematic issues and recommendation of proposed resolutions
- Review and enhance reconciliation processes to deliver improved reconciliation KPIs and reporting
- Manage and ensure offshore operational delivery comply with all Acts, Regulations and codes governing the Energy Industry
- Undertake revenue protection project activity in line with Governance and Assurance objectives

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:

- Proven experience in a data driven role operating in a large business environment
- Ability to design, develop and create reports/dashboards using advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL and reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau along with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and draw insights from large, complex and ambiguous data sets, communicate those insights appropriate to the audience needs and make evidence-based recommendations to inform decisions.
- Strong analytical and visualisation skills to support strategic decision making to minimize revenue leakage.
- Experience with process management, delivery of process improvement opportunities including working with an offshore function.
