**The Opportunity**

Working closely with our broader P&C team, you will provide timely and accurate advice across a range of ER and generalist HR issues to the organisation, delivering a high level of customer service with a strong focus on providing pragmatic commercially relevant solutions that add real value in achieving Institute objectives.

You will influence, coach and support our leaders to achieve their operational and people objectives, provide support and guidance to the broader P&C team and help to develop and implement HR initiatives that promote a positive working environment.

This Parental Leave role is full-time, maximum term for 12 months.

**About You**

You will be a qualified and experienced HR professional who thrives under pressure whilst handling competing priorities.

The key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following:

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with FW Act, NES, and up to date knowledge with other related legislation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and prioritise stakeholder requests.
- Sound commercial skills, with high levels of energy, presence and confidence to influence and engage at all levels, particularly building trusted relationships at senior level.
- Experience as a Human Resources Professional within a medium to large organisation providing accurate and timely advice on all HR related matters and a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing ER.
- Significant emotional intelligence and insight with a proven ability to provide expert advice and hands-on solution design and delivery that contributes to a high-performance, accountable, future-ready and values-led organisational culture.
