The Foundation is an iconic West Australian charity with a proud history spanning more than 100 years, and with one single beneficiary, the Perth Children's Hospital, we are dedicated to ensuring our sick children continue to receive the world-class healthcare they deserve.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our Corporate Services team on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract, playing a key role in driving digital transformation across the Foundation.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold vision for children's health in WA, working alongside a dynamic and purpose-driven team.
About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Digital Technology and Innovation, the Technical Business Analyst will lead process improvement initiatives, support data maturity, and champion the adoption of digital tools across the Foundation. You'll work closely with teams to understand current workflows, identify opportunities for automation and optimisation, and support the implementation of new technologies.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working collaboratively, and is passionate about using technology to create meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document current and future business processes using Lean principles
- Identify opportunities for automation, reconfiguration, or new digital platforms
- Support change management and staff adoption of new technologies
- Use SQL to analyse data from a wide range of sources, providing key information and developing clear business insights
- Contribute to dashboards, reports, and data modelling
- Assist with software configuration and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation and support cross-functional collaboration
About You
You're a curious and confident analyst who enjoys digging into processes and data to uncover opportunities for improvement. You bring a strong growth mindset, strong technical skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
You'll Bring
- Experience mapping business processes for enterprise systems (CRM/ERP)
- 1–2 years of SQL experience working with relational databases
- Familiarity with PowerQuery, PowerBI, and data visualisation tools
- Exposure to Generative AI tools and their practical applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on ethical, values-based decision-making.
