We are looking for a part time Business Development Representative to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in the resources sector.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.

If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market. You’re a natural networker
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Reporting to the Sales Manager regularly and ensuring that targets are met

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in the resources industry, in a similar role, so you have a good appreciation of the challenges our clients face and understand how TPRC can add significant value to their businesses.

Ideally you will bring:

- An extensive network of contacts in the resources or resources related sector
- Previous as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Experience in the resources industry and a broad understanding of the roles and challenges in finding skilled people
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- A track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot or Bullhorn)
- Familiarity with MS Excel
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
