Data & Insight Analyst

**An exciting, Permanent opportunity has become **available **for a Data & Insights Analyst.**

The role demands an experienced individual with strong problem solving, data analysis, data preparation and visualisation skills, and an ability to work across a matrix environment with business and technical stakeholders to understand customer and business problems, develop hypothesis and solve for them.

**How will I help?**
- Develop insights and recommendations by undertaking data sourcing, data preparation, analysis design and visualisation to support the curation of engineering and delivery system intelligence, and enabling technology strategies
- Delivery of core capability in terms of insightful analysis to aid root cause investigation, triage, uplift of our engineering and delivery system data (technology delivery and operational) today and future state
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their commercial imperatives and translate into datadriven approaches
- Be supportive and proactive in strengthening the technical capabilities of the analytics / performance function

**What do I need?**
- 3+ years' experience in a data and analytics related role in either Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Tertiary qualification in analytics, science, business/economics, computer science or related discipline
- Proficiency with tools and techniques for analysing, data manipulation and presentation (e g. SAS, SQL, Python & Power BI
- Experience within data lake-house concept, Databricks and Azure Data Lake will be highly regarded.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to craft presentations based on a defined narrative / storyline and key messages
- Possess strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly (verbal and written) and influence stakeholders
