**Area Sales Manager**:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will develop the regional service business and you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding orders and end-to-end margin targets. You will proactively work with and support the local units in your region to drive growth in line with the strategy. Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, you will be driving sales performance of Motion Service Division across Southeast Asia and the Australia / New Zealand region. The position can be based in any of the following locations: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, or New Zealand.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Acting as a focal point of contact for the local sales units in the Motion Service division and vice versa
- Assisting the local sales units in developing the sales plan. Identifying improvement areas and drive these as a continuous process activity
- Driving implementation of the division sales strategy follow up on execution of the divisional initiatives
- Engagement with global teams, backend units and engineering centers for optimized support
- Deploying and driving the process for installed base management, building pipeline, and increasing service penetration (Baseline)
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers and channels in the region
- Assisting in providing accurate monthly order forecasts, based on SFDC pipeline and knowledge of the market
- Performing market analysis in order to identify and anticipate new trends and requirements. Analyzing and studying the main competitor’s performance
- Coaching and leading the sales personnel as well as cooperating with other Area Sales Managers of different region or division

**Your background**:

- Solid sales experience with customer centric approach and preferably domain competence in drives and motors systems, products and/or services
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience with different cultures and have the sensitivity on cultural behavior
- Strong experience in supporting a front-end sales operation
- Leadership skills and experience; supportive; able to coach and motivate
- Networking, social, team builder, result driven, and customer oriented; assertive but also flexible
- Excellent communications skills; fluent in written and spoken English and preferable local language(s)
- Ability to build mutual trust with local sales units and within the rest of the organization
- Excellent influencing and change management skills
- Hungry for growth and delivering result
