We are seeking a Corporate Governance Officer to provide effective support for corporate governance-related activities, assisting to ensure that processes comply with statutory provisions, City objectives, and policies.
As the Corporate Governance Officer, you will support the City by:
- Proactively contributing to the development, implementation, and administration of the Corporate Governance Framework and Complaints Management Framework.
- Assisting with the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employees’ understanding of legislative obligations in a Local Government environment.
- Maintaining the relevant registers for employee-related disclosures of interest, gifts, delegations, primary and annual returns, secondary employment, and statutory authorisations.
- Managing incoming requests and enquiries from internal and external stakeholders relating to corporate governance matters.
