Help shape the future of Australia's resources and energy sector.
Corporate Affairs Australia (CAA) is seeking an early-career Consultant to join our growing practice supporting clients across Australia's energy and resources industries.
We work with companies developing responsible, forward-looking projects that are critical to Australia's future prosperity. Our team delivers integrated corporate affairs support - combining government relations, community and Indigenous engagement, communications and design - to help clients build trust and deliver outcomes.
The Opportunity
This role offers early exposure to diverse projects and clients, and a chance to learn directly from experienced practitioners. You'll contribute to real work that matters helping companies earn trust, navigate complexity, and contribute to national prosperity.
You will:
- Support the development and delivery of corporate affairs strategies and engagement plans.
- Prepare clear, high-quality written materials including briefings, presentations, stakeholder communications and social content.
- Contribute to planning and implementing engagement activities with government, community and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with CAA's Partners and Directors to provide professional, client-first service and advice.
About You
You are a strong communicator with an interest in public affairs, responsible development, and the industries that underpin Australia's prosperity. You thrive in a team environment, are eager to learn, and take pride in producing thoughtful, accurate work.
You may be a recent graduate or early-career professional with experience in communications, policy, or engagement — for example, as a journalist, adviser, or consultant.
An understanding of the Western Australian political or approvals environment is an advantage, but there's also plenty of opportunity to learn in the role.
About Corporate Affairs Australia
CAA is a specialist corporate affairs consultancy supporting the energy and resources sectors.
Our purpose is to help companies navigate increasingly complex social, political and regulatory landscapes to enable the responsible development and operation of resource and energy projects.
We believe corporate affairs is essential to the future success of these industries and the prosperity they enable.
