**The Client**
Our client is a respected and renowned organisation within the community services industry and due to a recent internal promotion, an opportunity has risen for an experienced Accounts Payable to join their team based in North Sydney.

**The Role**
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end function of Accounts Payable and provides assistant to the Accounting support team when necessary.

**Duties**
Reporting directly into the Senior Financial Accountant, and working autonomously, your daily tasks will include;
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and processing a high volume of invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Process supplier payments within supplier trading terms.
- Reconcile the accounts payable control account in the general ledger to the sub-ledger each month
- Ensure petty cash is replenished and reconciled in a timely manner
- End of month reporting

**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in an end to end Accounts Payable position
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Have experience using a large ERP System
- Prior experience using a scanning software for invoices is highly desirable
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Positive and vibrant personality
