**Cranbrook Care is looking for an accurate Accounts Payable Officer to join the team in our North Sydney office for a 6 months maternity leave contract.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As **Accounts Payable Officer, **you will be a part of a cohesive, dynamic team, dedicated to providing the best level of service and care to the teams at our residences. You will be part of a team that is effective, capable and thriving in their work.

You will:

- Process incoming accounts payable data from our supplies and residences
- Ensure that internal approval processes are followed to meet audit requirements
- Run accounts payable payments twice per month to ensure our supplies are paid on time
- Reconcile supplier statements and accounts
- Be committed and motivated to complete your role and assist the broader team as you are able
- Live the Cranbrook Care culture and work according to Cranbrook Care's values.

You have a kind and compassionate nature with the ability to deal with sensitive issues in a professional, respectful and caring manner. You are an excellent communicator with second-to-none customer service skills.

**A demonstrated knowledge of the following software is important but not essential**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Previous experience using EPICOR accounting software would be an advantage

**To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes**:

- Previous experience processing invoices
- Sound numeracy and literacy abilities
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong numerical ability
- A positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement at every opportunity
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
- Ability to work as a close-knit team member.
