Our client, in the commercial sector is seeking a **Finance Officer** to join their team based in inner south suburb of Canberra.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Account Payable (AP)**:

- Process supplier invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers per company policy.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end activities.
- Assist in corporate credit card processing for all entities.

**Accounts Receivable (AR)**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for AR tasks.
- Process AR invoices promptly and respond to customer queries.
- Daily imports and exports between Sage (accounting system) and CMS

(property system).
- On occasions provide back-up support in monthly reconciliation between Sage and CMS for all entities.
- Provide back-up assistance with monthly reporting to management on status of outstanding debts.

**About You**:

- Relevant experience in similar role
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- A team player with great organisational and great administrative skills
- Is a self-starter with great organisational and time management skills.
- Must be able to pass police check and pre-employment medicals.
