**The Division**

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

**The opportunity**

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Portfolio Governance Manager to join us in the Technology and Innovation branch and lead the overall portfolio management function for the branch.

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a structured governance framework and portfolio pipeline that enables teams throughout the project lifecycle and drives the branch to meet strategic objectives.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Lead and manage a peak portfolio management function that incorporates and oversees the delivery of Technology and Innovation programs, and interfaces to divisional and branch PMOs, to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Lead, manage and drive adherence to a robust and sustainable governance and benefits framework that manages a complex portfolio of programs and projects.
- Provide portfolio tracking and reporting to stakeholders and proactively address portfolio and project delivery based issues.

**About you**
- You will have demonstrated experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) and be capable of working with technology involving SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of products - Ms Project, Word, Excel.
- You are someone who has the ability to adapt to changing priorities, in a complex and changing environment as well as think outside the box.
- You have advanced communication skills and are used to engaging with a vastly different array of stakeholders
- As an individual, you are a “self-starter” who can work constructively and autonomously within a fast paced environment to deliver agreed outcomes.
- You will have strong communication skills with the ability to understand, discuss, influence and resolve complex issues with different levels of stakeholders.
- Ideally, you will have also worked on Business cases that have involved successfully progressing through technology project gates within a complex multi stakeholder environment.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 9 ($142,178 - $159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
