**The Opportunity**
Transport for New South Wales is seeking for a Manager - Portfolio Governance to join our Portfolio Governance team within Corporate Services division. This is a permanent full time opportunity based at Burwood with flexible work practices.
You will manage the planning and execution delivery processes to ensure alignment to the IT Portfolio Governance framework and provides specialist expertise to governance forums, ensuring the efficient and effective running of all meetings as per the Terms of Reference.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Lead and manage a team including day to day work allocation, capability development and performance management to ensure implementation of appropriate governance controls across all IT project and programs.
- Manage and oversee governance for all portfolios, providing monitoring and escalation for program related issues.
- Manage and maintain strategic oversight of governance framework to ensure alignment and integration with the external governance frameworks and that requirements, including reporting activities are fully implemented, and operationalised.
- Develop and implement reporting processes to track the overall performance of IT projects against business case approvals and Governance requirements.
- Manage the alignment of planning and delivery processes to appropriate funding mechanisms and stage gate approvals.
- Develop processes to ensure efficient and accurate collection and dissemination of data associated with a particular forum to communicate relevant information and inform key decision making.
- Maintain quality and accuracy of IT project data as well as the ongoing development and support of the reporting toolset and support underlying systems and processes necessary to produce, maintain and ensure accuracy of captured information.
**About You**:
To be successful in the role;
- Significant knowledge of management, analysis of sustainability and optimisation of strategies, planning and performance enhancements in a large complex organisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of best practice industry trends to deliver quality services to diverse business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead complex change and improvement programs in a dynamic environment.
- Significant experience in the development and implementation of governance, risk, assurance, and reporting frameworks.
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 ($142,178 - $159,238) plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
